Pairwise-fretted clavichord expanded to C-C''' chromatic from an original "broken-octave" compass. Pitched at about A465, fretted in Kirnberger III.

This small pairwise-fretted clavichord built by Owen Daly, based loosely upon an anonymous 18th-century Swedish instrument in the Musikmuseet in Stockholm. This instrument was played beautifully at a demonstration recital at BEMF by Judith Conrad, and is the new acquisition of fellow List member Tom Phinney.
